One of the more challenging aspects the Board encountered when attempting to resolve our dispute over a fire loss with the insurance carrier of our condominium was documentation. The dollar value in our dispute at the beginning was nearly $3M. This grew to nearly $5M from the original estimate. In the end, we were able to restore the building and get everyone moved back into their units. This would not have occurred without the documentation we received from Justin. Stated simply, there was too much information that is unique to restoration construction, insurance law, and new code requirement interpretation for the board or our contractor to manager this well.
